- Programme
- The Art of Fugue, Chaconne in D minor
The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra follows in the footsteps of Johann Sebastian Bach and, under the direction of violinist Joosten Ellée, fuses works by the great Baroque composer with electronic interludes. Jonas Urbat processed aspects of the Baroque compositions into interludes written for the SKO, creating abstract, hyper-realistic sound worlds in which the orchestra takes part through improvisation. Bach’s “Art of Fugue” and his Chaconne in D minor frame the programme.
