Sonic Tales of Industry

World premiere of Jonas Urbat’s composition in the 3rd symphony concert of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic under conductor Benjamin Reiners, with Jonas Urbat on live electronics. Field recordings from the Industriemuseum Chemnitz and the Lößnitz iron foundry were transformed into an orchestral composition that reached a broad and diverse audience.

The groundwork was an inclusive soundwalk through the Lößnitz iron foundry with students of the state school for the blind and visually impaired.
